About Stacey

I’m a Mom.

This blog is a chronicle of my journey as a Mom.

Nova and Lux Newborn

It’s about my 2 daughters, Nova and Lux, who are 17 months apart. The ways that I love them, and the ways they drive me insane. It’s about finding myself as a Mom and learning about what that means to me. It’s about co-parenting with my husband and a whole village of caring, wise parents and caregivers who have come before us. Sometimes it’s about taking time for myself. You’ll see the faces of our family and friends; the people who love us and the people that we love. There will be times when I’m irritatingly in love with life and times when I’m shockingly disgruntled. It’s a blog for them, to show them how much I cared when I’m too old to remember. It’s to show other parents out there that there’s no “right” way…this is just my way. Sometimes it’s just a place to store my photos. (I got a Nikon D5100 from my family for Christmas last year.)

I’ve learned a lot from late nights spent on Google searching, “Mommy Blogs”, “Vancouver Moms”, and “Honest Mom Blogs”, among other things.

Being a Mom is the biggest, best, most overwhelming, most terrifying thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.

It’s also the thing I’m most proud of.

I recently went through the DONA training program for becoming a doula and can’t wait to see where this next chapter of my life takes me.

Hi…I’m Stacey. I’m an almost 30-something Mom from Vancouver. Let’s hang out.

STACEY!!! I’m so excited for you!! Maybe if we’re lucky, we’ll have kids close together…hahaha. I’m like that you know. Gotta have a kid whenever anyone else does. Just ask Danielle…lol.

Congratulations to you and Cale! How far along are you now?
